ROBO - Male, Jack Russell Mix

This absolutely adorable Jack Russell mix came to us with another larger dog. He does like dogs - as long as he gets to be the boss!!! Robo is affectionate and well mannered. He enjoys his walks and loves to play in the Barkyard. At around fifteen pounds and five years of age Robo is full grown. We think he would enjoy a quiet home and someone to lavish him with attention.

MILO - Male, Maltese/Poodle Mix

Milo is a maltese poodle mix. He is two years old and weighs fourteen pounds. Milo is well mannered. He is great with other dogs and does well when meeting new people. Milo is leash trained and in his last home was housetrained.This adorable little boy is in need of surgery on both of his rear legs. We are currently looking for a foster to take care of him while he recovers. He needs to be in a home before he can have the surgery. FOXY - Female, Papillon Mix

Foxy is a sixteen month old,thirteen pound Papillon mix. She was turned into GHS by a young family. The landlord changed the rules at their apartment and they reluctantly had to give her up for adoption. She enjoyed their children and was much loved in their home. Foxy is a bit frightened at the shelter and would love to go home soon.
TESSA - Female, Jack Russell Terrier

Tessa is a seventeen pound, two year old Jack Russell Terrier. She was turned into the Hesperia Shelter by her owner because they were moving. Tessa likes other dogs and currently bunks with Porter. She has great leash manners and is learning to sit and play some educational games while at GHS. Her previous owner said she is good with children but we believe it to mean older children. Tessa is somewhat shy with new people but warms up when she feels safe.
LISSIE - Female, Golden/Aussie Mix

Lissie is a ten month old Golden /Aussie mix from the Hesperia Shelter. She is forty-two pounds and full of happy energy. Lissie is very bright and learns quickly. We are currently working on basic manners with her. She is athletic and graceful and we think she would make a perfect hiking or running partner. Lissie is good with other dogs and would be a wonderful addition to a family with adults only or children over twelve. Lissy will continue to grow for a few more months - probably ending up around sixty pounds.
